Magellan 9900i is great for self-service checkouts, providing the fastest reading speed and ease of use regardless of 1D, 2D, GS1 or Digimarc symbologies. The TDR option of the Magellan 9900i enhances scanning volume by up to 20% and provides a six-sided view of items. It is available in three heights and offers an optional integrated reader for customers to scan mobile devices and coupons themselves, independent of employees in supported lanes. The Magellan 9900i owes its strong performance capabilities to QuadVision, which consists of a multi-core processor and multi-camera with embedded Linux operating system. ScanSentry colour camera options and neural processors also enable artificial intelligence (AI) support.
